As part of our commitment to working within the community and to promoting the need for people with mental health difficulties to enjoy the same access to community facilities as everyone does, we are available to the public at the following community venues.
Scarborough
Queen Street Methodist Central Hall (next to Boyes’ store)- Members of the public can visit us at here on Friday afternoons (except on Bank Holidays) between 12.30 – 3.30 p.m. Between these times, whatever the weather, a Mind worker or trained volunteer can be found at the front door of the building to listen and welcome you. A warm welcome awaits you if you decide to come in and join us, and a private room is available should you require privacy or a confidential chat with our trained staff and helpers. Refreshments are also available, and a wide range of activities, help, information and taster sessions. The building has disabled access. If you can't or don't wish to meet us at Queen Street, please contact us to make an appointment to meet elsewhere.
Whitby
The Evangelical Church, 12 Skinner Street. You will find us here on Monday’s between 12.30 – 3.30 p.m. (except on Bank Holidays). Workers and trained volunteers are available to offer information, support or confidential consultation. The venue has disabled access and offers a welcoming environment to all. If you can't or don't wish to meet us at the Evangelical Church, please contact us to make an appointment to meet elsewhere.
Ryedale
