Scarborough and Ryedale Carers Resource

We aim to provide a service to all carers across
Scarborough/Whitby/Ryedale that meets their individual needs.

To help carers deal with difficulties and lead more fulfilling lives, we
offer support in a number of ways, including:

Telephone Support
Face to Face Contact
Training Sessions
Volunteering Opportunities
Consultation & Representation work

We also hold a Drop In at the Castle Community Office at the Market
Vaults in Scarborough on Tuesdays from 1pm - 4pm.

We can provide:

Advice and Information
Emotional Support
Welfare Benefits Advice
Advocacy
Full carers assessments on behalf of North Yorkshire County Council
and much more.

We also have two projects currently providing support and advice to
carers - The Young Adult Carers project (aged 18-35) which as well as
one-to-one support, also offers a range of regular activity sessions and
events.  And the second project is aimed at support for carers and
families supporting someone with drug or alcohol issues.
